Surgeries we treat are:
FESS – Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery is done for case of chronic Rhinosinusitis with or without nasal polyposis. It is not cure of Sinusitis because sinusitis is inflammation of Sinus mucosa causing blockage of drainage pathway leading to accumulate of mucus & infection leading to pus. FESS will open the sinus cavities more widely making sinus ventilation propel. It is an adjunct to, not a replacement for, propel medical management.
Septoplasty – This is surgery done for deviated nasal spectrum causing nasal obstruction. In this surgery straightening of the nasal septum as much as possible in the midline position. It is done via Endoscopic Technique.
Nasal Bleeding (Epistaxis) – Nasal Bleeding has many causes but most common are Sinusitis, colds, injury to nose, nose picking, inflammation of nasal lining, less commonly high blood pressure, nasal tumors, polyps. Treatment options by Dr. Abhishek Mohan Sr. ENT Surgeon are:
